Lesson 1 - Hello World

Hi there! Welcome to your first lesson of the Java course!

In order to complete this lesson you’ll have to write some Java code to display the text “Hello World!” on the console.

Code Snippet

The command for displaying text on the console has the following structure: System.out.println(<insert text>);

Note that with this command - as with every command in Java - you have to end with a semicolon (;).

Start this lesson by downloading the base file to your system. Compare your code with the solution when you are done coding. Your code should match the code in the solution.
